SIX MEXICAN OR SPANISH COLONIAL DEVOTIONAL PAINTINGS.
Comprising a group of six devotional paintings, all but two 19th century. From left to right, top to bottom, they are: an oil on tin retablo of the Holy Trinity; the Eucharistic Man of Sorrows (El Varón Eucarístico de Dolores) in a carved wood frame; Our Lady of Mt. Carmel; a contemporary Cuzco-style painting of a bishop saint, likely St. Augustine, in a carved wood frame; an oil on copper painting of St. Joseph and the infant Christ displaying his Sacred Heart, possibly 18th century; and another contemporary Cuzco-style painting of St. Dominic, also in a carved wood frame. Greatest overall size including frame of all six 15 x 10.25 inches (38.1 x 26cm).
